What began as Dean's Place LLC in 2014 has evolved into Legacy Alignment—a seamless rebrand that honors the foundational values of quality craftsmanship, honest service, and community trust while embracing fresh energy and continued innovation under new leadership.
Founded by Dean Van Emmerik, a 20-plus-year veteran of the truck alignment and suspension repair industry, Dean's Place started in the heart of Parker, SD, with a simple promise: deliver Sioux Falls-level precision alignments infused with the warmth and reliability of small-town service. From day one, Dean's expertise turned everyday rigs into road warriors, saving customers thousands in fuel, tires, and downtime through meticulous laser-guided work and hands-on repairs. In 2019, the operation relocated to our state-of-the-art facility just north of Sioux Falls at the Crooks/Renner Exit, expanding our reach while staying true to those roots.
Now, as we mark the end of the Dean's Place era, we're thrilled to transition into Legacy Alignment LLC. This isn't just a name change—it's a heartfelt handover to Levi and Lexie, the next generation of dedicated stewards who will uphold and elevate the standards Dean set. With the same veteran-honed integrity and cutting-edge tools, Legacy Alignment is poised to keep your trucks and trailers tracking straight for years to come.
